Join us to taste through a flight of wines from one of Texas’ premier wineries, William Chris, and be among some of the first to taste the third release in their charity-focused project, The Wanderer Series!

Born out of a desire to partner with like-minded industry professionals to create a project with humanitarian impact, The Wanderer Series Relief Project is a wine with unique expression for the William Chris Winery—blended with sommeliers (friends) with its sales attached to a charitable cause.  Our own June Rodil and Mark Sayre (already huge fans of William Chris wines) were honored to blend this year’s wine, partnering with Jose Andrés’ World Central Kitchen—a global cause that helps bring meals to areas in the wake of crises.

The wine itself, a blend of 60% Mourvèdre and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, took shape as they were tasting through barrels of wine on the William Chris property.  The unique combination of dark fruit, high-tone aromatics, and stoney minerality made them feel the way the great wines of the South of France do—allowing for inspiration to come from one of the area’s iconic cult estates! 

Come taste the awesome wines from the William Chris Winery, celebrate the release of this bad ass wine for a bad ass cause, and just hang with Joe Burns (Dir. of Sales, William Chris) Tony Offill (Head Winemaker, William Chris) Mark, and June! The Wanderer Series wine will be available to buy that night and other William Chris Wines available as a presale to be picked up the following week.

We love all cheeses equally, but there’s something special about raclette, the meltiest and sexiest of all the cheeses. Like fondue, raclette is a typical après-ski meal invented in Switzerland. Traditionally, the cheese is held up to a fire to get it nice and melty and then scraped from the half-wheel atop other delicious foods like potatoes and cornichons. 

To celebrate this very special cheese, we’re throwing a raclette party on the patio with a full wheel of cheese just waiting to be scraped onto your plate. 

Plate includes: Potatoes with caramelized onions, cornichons and baguette slices for $22 ($26 with charcuterie).
